NFL Playoffs Round 2: Predictions

Posted: January 9, 2009 by danjohns in 2008, Arizona, Baltimore, football, New York, NFL playoffs, Philadelphia, predictions, san Diego, upset

I’m posting this now in the event that I don’t find time to do it tomorrow before the games.

I’m picking the Ravens to take this one. Both defenses are physical but I think that Baltimore has a more dynamic offense.

I just don’t see any way that the cardinals can win this game with an anemic running game. Warner will have to have a career day and their defense would need 2 or more forced turnovers. Carolina in a blow out.

Donovan McNabb is soft duke, no matter what you may think. He’ll choke against stiff competition. The Giants will lean on the running game and control the clock. NY wins

I’m picking the Chargers in what some will consider an upset. Phillip Rivers is the truth, and I don’t expect their defense to perform as poorly. Plus Big Ben is mistake prone.
